Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Dalanio, Inc. ("Dalanio", "we", "us") handles information on this website, dalanio.com. Dalanio is a pre-launch product, and this site exists to describe it and let interested teams get in touch. We have tried to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to this site. It is a privacy-friendly tool: it does not use cookies, does not use local storage for tracking, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. We see aggregate information such as page views, referrers, country-level location, and browser type. We cannot identify individual visitors from it.

Email correspondence. If you email us at [email protected], for example to request early access or a walkthrough, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write, such as details about your data stack. That is the only personal information this site leads to us holding, and you choose whether to send it.

We do not run advertising trackers, social media pixels, or third-party marketing scripts on this site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google's servers; Google's handling of those requests is described in Google's own privacy policy.

How we use it

• Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful and where visitors come from, in aggregate.
• Email correspondence is used to reply to you, to manage the early access list, and to follow up about the product if you asked us to.

We do not use your information for automated decision making, and we do not combine it with data purchased from third parties.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with third parties for their own marketing. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and say so plainly.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that make this site and our email work (for example, our hosting, analytics, and email providers), and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

Retention

Aggregate analytics data is retained by Cloudflare on our behalf according to its standard retention periods, and it contains no personal identifiers we can use. Email correspondence is kept for as long as we have an ongoing reason to keep it, such as an active early access conversation. If you ask us to delete your correspondence, we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your choices

You can browse this entire site without providing any personal information. If you have emailed us, you can ask us at any time to correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by writing to [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal data; we will honor valid requests regardless of where you are.

Children

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date at the top. When the Dalanio product launches, it will be covered by its own, more detailed privacy documentation.
